What We Share
We publish the following data for all publicly accessible EV Smart charge points:
Reference Data (static information):

Charge point location and identifiers

Payment methods accepted (e.g. RFID, contactless, app-based)

Tariff rates (in pence per kWh)

Scheduled hours of operation or known unavailability
Availability Data (real-time status):

Whether a charge point is available, charging, or reserved

Status changes updated in real time across connected platforms

Data integrity supported by live network monitoring
This information is published using the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) standard and is integrated with leading mapping and EV routing services, including Zapmap and Google Maps, so EV drivers and third parties can reliably access live charge point data.
Open Access – No Restrictions
In line with Regulation 10(5), EV Smart does not require any user, government body, system operator, or third-party service provider to agree to any terms or conditions in order to access our data. There are no fees, NDAs, or data usage restrictions applied.
